Install Insider builds You cant select an Insider update channel if you installed Microsoft 365 from the Mac App Store. On the Sign in to activate Office screen, select Sign in. Open any Office app, like Microsoft Word and in the What's New box that opens, select Get Started. You can delete your old version of the app and get It from Apple now. In the top menu bar select Finder > Applications and scroll down to the Microsoft Office apps. Office 365 is available for Windows, Mac, iPhones, iPads and Android devices. If you get Office from the Mac App Store, that handles all updates. However, there are some differences to point out. Again, this isn’t found in the Microsoft Word menu bar. The software is to be used on personal devices. If you use a Windows computer or a Mac, Microsoft 365 is designed to work the same way on both systems. To manually update Microsoft Office for Mac, open Word, and select the Help tab from the system menu bar.
